Savannah, Ga.- The Men's Golf Team competed in the Wilmington Island Intercollegiate early this week and finished 5th out of 12 teams.

On November 1st, the First Inaugural All You Can Eat Stone Crab Dinner will celebrate the opening of the Fernandez Family Center for Leadership and Wellness.  A Silent Auction will also take place.  All proceeds will go to STU Athletics.   National Championship Baseball Coach Paul Mainier will be the featured speaker for the dinner.  Tickets are $80 per person.

LAKE WALES, FL – Je Her places second for the Bobcats at The Sun Conference Golf Tournament. Her was also named to The Sun Conference All Tournament Team for the second year in a row. Je Her posted a 73-73-73 for a total of 219 for the tournament. This total left him just one stroke shy of first place. The Bobcats as a team finished 7th posting a total score of 926.

Miami Shores, FL The St. Thomas University Bobcats men’s golf team finished 13th of 14 teams at the Buccaneer Invitational hosted by Barry University.  Brian Alfonso was the strongest Bobcat with a club finishing tied for 53rd place.  He turned an individual score of 76, 75, and 80 at the par 71 Normandy Shores Golf Course in Miami Beach, FL.

DAYTONA BEACH, FLAfter a first round of golf that left the team in 12th place out of 14 teams the St. Thomas University Golf team bounced back over the final two rounds to finish 8th at the 20th Annual Eagle Invitational.  The 2nd round performance by the Bobcats played a significant role in their improvement; they put together the 5th best team score during the round.
