Volleyball beats College of Bahamas 3-0 to get 1st win in Fernandez Center
Miami Gardens, Fla- The Fernandez Center hosted its first athletic competition Friday night as the Volleyball team welcomed College of Bahamas to campus. The Bobcats won easily 3-0.
Haleema Linares scored the first point in Fernandez Center history, while leading the Bobcats to victory. The first game ended 25-5 in favor of the Bobcats and not much changed for the remainder of the match. The last two games ended 25-12 and 25-15 respectively. The Bobcats surrendered just 8 kills in comparison to the 30 kills they laid on COB.
The team moves to 7-7 overall and will travel to Northwood for a Wednesday night match at 7 PM.
