Miami Shores, FL – The St. Thomas University Bobcats men’s golf team finished 13th of 14 teams at the Buccaneer Invitational hosted by Barry University. Brian Alfonso was the strongest Bobcat with a club finishing tied for 53rd place. He turned an individual score of 76, 75, and 80 at the par 71 Normandy Shores Golf Course in Miami Beach, FL.
The best individual round of golf by a Bobcat was played by Je Her. He shot a 74 in the third round. He finished the tournament tied for 63rd place with fellow Bobcat Max Keen. The conference tournament is next for the Bobcats, it starts April 19. The Bobcats won the then called Florida Sun Conference tournament in 2008.
