LAKE WALES, FL – Je Her places second for the Bobcats at The Sun Conference Golf Tournament. Her was also named to The Sun Conference All Tournament Team for the second year in a row. Je Her posted a 73-73-73 for a total of 219 for the tournament. This total left him just one stroke shy of first place. The Bobcats as a team finished 7th posting a total score of 926.
Je Her was +3 overall on the par 3’s, +4 on the par 4’s, and -4 on the par 5’s. Her totaled 1 eagle, 9 birdies, and 31 pars for the weekend. Bryan Alfonso had an eagle, 3 birdies, and 28 pars for the tournament. Juan Ordonez managed 6 birdies and 32 pars over the weekend. Max Keen had an eagle, 4 birdies, and 27 pars. Julian Gil also had an eagle and 13 pars.
The team overall was +24 on the par 3’s, +71 on the par 4’s, and -3 on the par 5’s. The Bobcats did lead the conference in eagles during the tournament but it was not enough to help the Bobcats climb the standings. The Bobcats struggles on the final 18 holes of the tournament as they shot 317 as a team for the round.
The Sun Conference Tournament were the last rounds of competition for the Bobcats this year as they were unable to qualify for nationals.
