Golf Team begins season with 4th overall finish at Webber Invitational
3 St. Thomas players finished in the top 30 to earn the top-5 finish

Lake Wales, Fla- The Bobcat golf team traveled to in-conference rival Webber Univ. to compete in their annual tournament over the weekend. 14 teams competed in the tournament and St. Thomas earned their first top-5 finish of the season coming in at 4th overall.
The Bobcats combined for a 598, or 30-over par, falling short of Brevard CC who finished at 586 to take the 16th Webber Invitational title. Omar Tejeira led the Bobcats with a 2-over par 144 (70,74) and placed 3rd in the individual standings. Juan Ordonez added a 7-over 149 (75,74) and Esteban Aristizanbal posted a 10-over 152 (80,72) to aid Tejeira and keep the Bobcats in the top-5.
The Bobcats will head to St. Augustine this weekend where they will compete in the Flagler Invitational.
