St. Augustine, Fla.- The Bobcat golf team traveled to the home of the World Golf Hall of Fame this weekend to compete in the Flagler College Invitational. 15 teams competed in the tournament and Saint Thomas finished in 9th place overall with a score of 930, or 66 over par.
Omar Tejeira led the Bobcats through two rounds with a 73 and 72, respectively, but struggled into the clubhouse shooting a final round 85. Tejeira dropped from being in a tie for 4th overall through two days to 24th overall at the conclusion of the tournament. Estaban Aristizabal stayed consistent throughout the tournament shooting 73-77-77 and finished in a tie for 14th overall.
The Bobcats will take some time off before traveling to Palm Beach for the NSU Shark Invitational. That tournament will take place October 11-13.
