Bobcats don't surrender the lead in win over PBA
MIAMI GARDENS, Fla.- St. Thomas hosted the ladies of Palm Beach Atlantic Tuesday night and coasted to a 63-48 victory. Alexandria Vanterpool led all scorers with 16 points while grabbing 10 boards in a game that saw no lead changes. Amanda Fernadez got the start against PBA and came through with 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists. Cindy Castrillon had a 7 point, 8 rebound outing, while Carissa Staiano provided 7 points and 3 rebounds off the bench. Nickerline Montina, also had 9 points and 6 steals. The Bobcats out-rebounded the Sailfish 44-36, and surrendered 18 rebounds compared to 28 from PBA. STU improves to 12-7 (5-2 in TSC) and will play Fla. Memorial on Saturday at 2 PM in the Fernandez Center.
