Bobcats begin Spring Season at Webber Start2Finish Invit'l, T-8th

BABSON PARK, Fla.- The Bobcat golf team participated against conference competition this weekend at the Webber Start2Finsh Invitational. STU shot a 908 and finished 8 of 10 teams.
Max Keen led the Bobcats with a 13-over, 226. Keen started slowly, shooting an opening-round 82, but rallied in the final two rounds with a 71 and 73 respectively. Je Her and Julian Gil supported with 228 (+15) and 229 (+16) respectively.
South Carolina-Beaufort won the tournament with a 35-over 887.
The Bobcats continue play March 7-9 at the Rome News Tribune Invitational in Rome, Ga.
