MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - The Sun Conference named Tito Gayoso Rookie of the Year over the weekend for his strong play throughout the 2010 season.  Also, several Bobcats were named Sun Conference and NAIA Scholar Athletes.

Gayoso's was an influential part of the Bobcats' success in the Sun Conference and advancement to the NAIA National Tournament. Gayoso is just a sophomore and looks to continue his success throughout his career at St. Thomas.

Adrian Escarate, Jeremy Bache, and Frederico Acevedo were named Sun Conference and NAIA Scholar Athletes in the closing ceremony for the 2010 National Tournament.

Stephanie Pfeffer represented the women's squad as an NAIA Scholar Athlete.
