Volleyball closes out successful week with another sweep

Bobcats get ready to attack
Miami Gardens, FL- STU volleyball continues to add wins to their record with a sweep over conference opponent Edward Waters College this saturday at the Fernandez Familiy center. STU now holds a 2-0 record in conference play which makes them tied for first place in The Sun Conference and 3-0 overall. 
    Nicole Molander-Barraza led the Bobcats offense with 11 kills. Mayara Gomes contributed to the cause with 4 kills, 2 digs, and 22 assists. Betina Schmidt added 6 kills, 12 assists, 5 digs, and 6 aces. Carolina Nuche gave 5 kills, 3 digs and 3 aces. Angie Ardiles and Gaby Huaroto-Luque led the team defensively with 7 digs each. 
    Next match will be Sept. 10th at the Fernandez Family Center.
