MIAMI GARDENS, Fla- The STU women's volleyball team was in action Friday evening inside the Fernandez Family Center taking on Embry Riddle University. STU lost the match in straight sets 3-0.

 In the first set Embry Riddle got off to an impressive start and jumped out to an extensive lead. They would not look back for the rest of the match. STU looked out of sync offensively and could not get anything going early on. Embry Riddle would go on a run and take the first set.

 The second set was a similar story with Embry Riddle going on another impressive run and built an insurmountable lead. STU was plagued by long errors as well as some service errors and could not recuperate. Embry Riddle would go on to take the second set and gain a commanding two sets to zero lead. .

 In the third set STU would rally back down ten points to cut the lead to three. But it was too little too late as Embry Riddle would show their mettle and poise they had throughout the match and seal the deal by holding off STU's rally.
