GAME PREVIEW

MEN'S BASKETBALL: #1 NORTHWOOD AT #14 ST. THOMAS

14th ranked St. Thomas, riding a school record 14-game win streak, hosts number one Northwood Thursday in arguably the biggest home basketball game in STU history.  St. Thomas is a perfect 7-0 at the Fernandez Family Center this year. The Bobcats have not lost since their first meeting vs. the Seahawks in West Palm Beach, a 88-80 defeat on November 26. Northwood, coached by former NCAA national championship coach Rollie Massimino, has sat atop the NAIA Division II rankings for five weeks  this year.  The winner of this game will take sole possession of first place in The Sun Conference.  A St. Thomas win would give the Bobcats 15 consecutive wins matching Northwood's 15-game streak earlier this season as the longest in NAIA DII this season.
